When I was thirteen I decided that I should know what an intense electrical shock felt like, so I walked half a mile to the neighbor’s house at night and was going to touch the back of my hand to his electric fence. However, as I approached the house I saw the silhouette of him having sex with his wife through the kitchen window and I ran away.

I honestly don’t think it’s possible for two people to stay together forever and be completely happy. And so when I see 14 and 15 year olds talking about how they’re in love and going to be with their boyfriend/girlfriend forever I kind of just laugh. I’m not sure if im laughing at them because they’re not being practical or because I’m covering up the fact that I’m jealous because I’ll never think like that again.
